When you have experienced any extremely traumatic event or suffer from any kind of extreme stress, then is it imperative to your recovery to focus on it in a positive way. This is the best path to true healing even though we understand it can be painful and difficult. There are way too many unknown factors to be able to be specific in the format of an article.The possibility exists that symptoms from the original event may reveal themselves slowly over time. There may seem to be no connection between a particular expression and the trauma that might have caused it. The complications that arise from this situation can make it difficult for you and anyone else. It is recommended that you speak with a knowledgeable professional so that you can prepared for what could happen in your situation.Let’s look at the situation for a young adult still at home, and the parents do not have a positive relationship. Sometimes the teen or early teen may want to help ease the situation but obviously is unable, and that can produce a whole range of negative emotions in addition to the extreme stress. In that situation, the teen needs to understand that he or she is not responsible for the behavior and choices of the parents. The best course of action for the teen is to be removed when the parents are fighting. When it starts, just leave and go somewhere that is a positive place and not stressful. Visiting a friend, taking a relaxing walk or anything that positive in nature is something the teen can do. The value of personal support systems is something we have discussed in other articles. By being empathic and communicating, our family and friends can be very helpful and make a positive impact. The reason for this is because talking about the traumatic experience really is a positive coping mechanism. Just a word of caution though about the personal support approach. The positive results may be diminished when members of that support have a shared experience that was traumatic or extremely stressful. This may not hold true however if the other person is doing well in dealing with the trauma.When coping with extreme stress, it make take several stages before effective healing can happen. One way to cope is to understand that the stress reactions are causing a significant problem. At that point, the best course of action would be to either ask someone you trust for advice or initiate contact with a professional. The same course of action will probably be given by the person you go to for advice. Chances are that after you talk to the psychologist or trained professional counselor, they will suggest further professional treatment. Extreme stress, anxiety or trauma can be tricky situations to deal with because of the variety of factors involved. Sometimes I get nervous if I have to talk in front of like a crowd of people and my pulse goes way up and I can feel the blood rushing through my head and my knees shivering. So that’s pretty much stress from fear for me.
For me my heart starts beating really fast, and I get all shakey, then vomiting

I’d probably get a panic attack or something, or carve for a cig ASAP, then again I can’t really recall being in a really stressful situation. What I do know is that for my mom, she gets fucking pissed when stressed. I guess everyone handles stress differently tho~
